Are You Paying Attention by Lisa Freeman

Are you paying attention? That’s sort of an open question… To whom? To what? Were, when, why? lol Are you paying attention to ‘everything’?? ‘Everything’ is pretty broad.. and yet, that is exactly what I am asking! Are you paying attention to LIFE, to the things that happen around you, to the bird chirping its little heart out trying to get you to ‘see’… it’s amazing when we slow ourselves down and really take in all that this world and the life on it, has to offer. It’s filled with beauty, with awesomeness and with messages! Every day we have things that are ‘shown’ to us that we miss because we simply do not take the time to notice what is happening around us. In this busy world we are in such a hurry that we miss wonderful opportunities to realize all that goes on in our own little personal world! Take for instance seeing numbers. Most people ‘do’ see certain numbers throughout their lives and they actually pay attention to those. I guess because you can find the meaning of numbers all over the internet and let’s face it, our life IS all about numbers. Social Security numbers, birthday, time to get up, time to go to bed.. and so on…. So paying noticing numbers is a natural thing for us to do. But what about smells? Have you ever been walking through a store and suddenly smelled the aroma of a freshly picked rose? Probably, but did you really pay attention or did you enjoy the fragrance for a few seconds and then let it go. Could that have been someone who is crossed over trying to get your attention? Have you paid attention to the words of that song that gets stuck in your head? Are you guides giving you a message? What about that commercial that comes on your TV ‘extra loud’ until you focus on it, then the sound becomes normal again? Could there be a message for you there? Of course! This happens ALL of the time! Our guides, people who have crossed over, our pets and even our plants can bring messages to us. Have you had a day where you continued to see the same color everywhere you went? I did that just the other day! Going to a friend’s house I saw 38 red cars in about a 2 mile stretch of road. That was pretty incredible! I knew there had to be a message but once I got to my friend’s, I mentioned it and then sort of forgot about it. I left her house and was headed to the store, this time about 5 miles away. In that stretch of road I passed 79 red cars! When I parked, a red car pulled in right in front of me. That IS someone trying to get my attention! So I really thought about that when I got home. I replayed the experience in my head. Were the cars going...

Happy Birthday Taurus 2014 by John Maerz

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAURUS 2014 By John Maerz BA You may find yourself saying things that you neither planned nor expected. You’ve been feeling “antsy” for some time now. Only now you’re finding that it’s coming out of your mouth a lot more often than you would care to allow. Perhaps your usual way of keeping your thoughts to yourself and beneath the surface have been happening a bit more than might be for your own good. The responsibilities that your significant other has been shouldering since October of 2012 need to be spoken of. Or, perhaps, you’ve been shouldering responsibility for them. In either case, speaking of these concerns is of importance to both of you, especially, since they will be solidified by this coming December. They do need to be in a good place for both of you since they will continue for quite a while. In some cases, this will not involve your significant other but your siblings. Over the last year security issues, yours, have been coming to the forefront. This has been occurring starting from June last year. In this there has been an intensifying struggle developing between your need for security and your need to remain independent. Usually, you are the rock for everyone else. But it seems as if many friends have either “fallen by the wayside” or have been intentionally jettisoned by you. You’ve been hard pressed to feel compassion for those you feel have betrayed you. Moving back to speaking your thoughts, it’s important that you speak your feelings about your betrayal even if you feel it is undignified to do so. You may find that you were not aware of some of the circumstances people who appeared to betray you were dealing with. In doing so you might relent from judging them as harshly as you have been. Everyone has been “between a rock and a hard place” at some time in their lives. So have you. Be a bit more forgiving, especially, of yourself and your previous judgment of them. In the third week of July the responsibilities spoken of previously will begin to move ahead. The time you’ve had to reconsider and adjust will be finished. At that point anything decided will become “etched in stone.” So it’s important that whatever adjustments you wish to make occur before July. You will find that as a result of these adjustments your relationships will become lighter and more fluid. This will, essentially, dissolve much of your previous feelings of betrayal and may even “reinstate” a few of the friends you had formerly...

May Astrolights 2014 by John Maerz

MAY 2014 ASTROLIGHTS By John Maerz With Mars still retrograde in Libra and the lunar nodes’ ingress into the Aries/Libra axis, our focus is predominantly on relationships. With Venus still in Pisces, our sensitivities are still running high, especially, regarding communications with our significant others. The primary decision making has been involved with when to share and when to go solo. The fact that Mercury has been in Taurus and in an inconjunct to Mars retrograde in Libra, has made communications strained at best. It feels as if you’re just not quite connecting while feeling as if there is still an “elephant under the rug.” When Mercury moves into Gemini on the 7th, this feeling will evaporate giving more potential for clarity. This is not to say that some of you will want to keep the communications foggy so as to avoid the commitment resulting from shared decisions. This is NOT the way to assure independence or dominance. Mars’ retrograde has been giving you an opportunity to step back, assess and adjust your actions or inactions in your relationships. This window of time will allow you to “correct” your perspective within your relationship or reaffirm a thriving one. The fact that Saturn is still retrograde in Scorpio until December and the Sun and Mercury are currently in Taurus gives clarity to any disputes concerning the resources you and your significant other share and have at your disposal. This is the time to strengthen your foundation or set it right if it has issues. This has been a very tense time for people wanting to “get things done” as there have been numerous distractions making us feel much like a ping pong ball in a wind tunnel. It’s time to assess the new influences that have come into play and to make adjustments for their inclusion in your future life plans. Things have been changing so dramatically, especially financially, which has put a tremendous strain on keeping our relationships healthy and intact. The nodes have been calling for independent action (south in Aries) focused on what is shared (north in Libra) in our relationships. As an aside, the inconjunct relationship between Venus in Pisces and the Mars and the north node in Libra has been a boon for anyone with a creative nature such as for painting, writing, theatre, etc. Struggle, especially in relationships, has always been a catalyst for artistic creativity. If you are an artist, hopefully, you’ve been taking advantage of the “vibes.” On a family note, there has been a very subtle shift in how we perceive what might be appropriate for traditional expectations. We seem to be moving more toward a larger social family and away from the once tight nuclear family. Perhaps this will make us a little more accepting and a little less “clannish” or “cliquey.”  For some, however, it will produce a more insecure feeling. In the long run, we must all grow up to adequately function in a rapidly changing world. This...

Monthly Astrological Predictions Through The Signs for 2014

Monthly Astrological Predictions Through The Signs for 2014

Aries – (Generally March 21st through April 20th. Have a chart done if you’re not sure as it changes year to year.) May –
The South Node of the Moon has just entered your Solar House of Relationship, Aries, and later this month Mars will activate it! What this means is that you have old issues and perhaps former relationship partners, and also close friends from the past, returning into your life! Since the North Node of the Moon has entered your Solar First House, this is causing a see-saw action in your life that makes you feel like you have to fight for your independence and freedom in order to have good relationships with those you love, as well as those who you are perhaps allowing to return into your life. Expect this month to be filled with conversation that may be enlightening and illuminating, and also help you to resolve internal conflicts for yourself or another. When you are not being consumed by your relationships Aries you will be solidly targeted on the task of organizing your life and determining a financially beneficial career path. If you are thinking of finally putting that book on paper, or of expanding your work activities more deeply into communications, you are on the right track! Taurus – (Generally April 21st through May 20th. Have a chart done if you’re not sure as it changes year to year.) May –
Expect a lovely and fulfilling month, Taurus. Your energy is expansive all month, and it is easy for you to take command of any situation you find yourself in. Work is likely to be somewhat consuming, whether at home or at your place of employment. Things you thought already taken care of are popping back up again. Try not to let yourself be overwhelmed by these necessary ‘repairs’. Just take care of them and move on. By NOT giving them too much attention they will ‘go away’ faster! You are also thinking of becoming involved with something or perhaps someone who will help you expand your creativity in a childlike and fun way. Perhaps this is a romantic partner, or a young person that is stimulating your creative interests. Laying a foundation for some new activities in your life that allow room for your creativity is a good thing to do with some of that ‘free time’ that you are creating along with the space you’ve already created for yourself at home. Don’t sit on the fence. Do it! Gemini – (Generally May 21st through June 20th. Have a chart done if you’re not sure as it changes year to year.) May –
Expect this month to be an extremely emotional one. You may find yourself laughing or crying for no reason at all! Just remember – tears can be healing. Allow yourself the emotional freedom to heal from whatever baggage you are presently carrying with you. Your work may involve travel opportunities this month. Try to use that travel for growth for yourself...

Sandy’s Psychic Protection Tip # 12

Psychic Protection Tip #12: Breathing Fills You with Life Force Energy Many people are unaware of just how important breath is.  Try this very simple technique to calm and center yourself the next time you feel out of sorts, off balance, on the defensive, or even fearful or anxious: Close your eyes for a moment to ‘dial out’ the visual impact of the outside world and focus your attention on yourself entirely just for the next few seconds.  This exercise can be done with the eyes open, but initially keeping them closed helps you to focus on you. Breath in as deeply as you can, visualizing the breath as white light being drawn in through your nose, expanding your chest and dropping  your diaphragm, then finally expanding and filling your belly.  Do this slowly and completely.  The first few times you do this you may want to slowly count to eight to slow yourself down.  Beginners often have trouble breathing in completely as the stress of our modern world tends to make us shallow ‘chest’ breathers. Then gently release your breath, first allowing it to flow out of your nose, then pulling your tummy in and pushing your diaphragm up to squeeze as much air out of your lungs as you can.  For many folks releasing the breath like this is initially difficult, as we all have difficulty learning to ‘let go’.  But eventually you will find that the breath almost automatically completely empties itself making you feel very grounded and centered.  Again, when you are first learning to do this, counting to eight will help you do it more slowly.  The exhalation and the inhalation should also be roughly equal in duration. Once you’ve fully released the breath don’t breathe in again immediately.  It is during this time, after the breath is released, that life force energy flows into you to fill the vacuum you’ve created.  Eventually you will find you really enjoy these few moments of ‘just being’.  For beginners, counting to four before breathing in again will help you learn to pace this. Now do this whole exercise two more times. When you are done return to your normal breathing pattern.  Take a few moments to feel how much calmer you feel.  How the stress and tension, the negative emotion that may have been overtaking you a moment ago, is entirely gone, and how you feel renewed, energized, and can now handle anything or anyone that a moment ago seemed overwhelming,...
