Sandy’s Psychic Protection Tip # 16

Astrology-Based Protection Gives Timing and More So many of the protective techniques and timing for protection is Astrology based, and most of us don’t realize it. Here are some examples: You should clean and clear and protect your house at least 4 times a year – on each Solstice, Summer and Winter and on each Equinox, Spring and Fall.   The Solstices and Equinoxes are based on the Earth’s movement around the Sun. Saturn is the planet that aids most in protection. Doing protections for yourself or your home on Saturday – the day of Saturn, or if you consult a chart of planetary hours doing it during the hour of Saturn will always make your protection stronger. The Sun is the life-giver of our Solar System. When we put ourselves in the white light, or in an energy balloon of protection, we are working with the energizing white light whose source on our world is the Sun. We all know that the cycles of the Moon are powerful and that people are more emotional on a full moon. Many magical traditions teach that it is best to initiate new endeavors during a waxing moon – that is, during the time that the moon is approaching its Full Phase. This is true. What many people don’t realize however, that the dark of the moon, that is the waning moon leading into the New Moon, is the best time to use all types of protection. Keep that in mind as you continue to use all of the protective techniques you learn. Good timing helps your protections last longer and stronger....

Sandy’s Editorial for September 2014

Hello Everyone, I want to share a memory with you. I was searching frantically, looking for a mirror or some reflective surface so I could see my face. You see, I looked down at my body and it was large and heavy and I had large wide feet and equally large hands. I was a man. I remembered being a woman, but when I looked down at myself I saw the figure of a man. I needed to know who I was, what I looked like. I found the mirror. Actually, it was a shiny pewter plate. That didn’t matter. I quickly raised it up and looked into it. The large expressive dark eyes that looked back at me from a swarthy dark skinned face were definitely not what I expected. My eyes are blue, aren’t they? But the reflection in the mirror said no. I had dark eyes and I was most definitely a man. I even had a beard. A well-kept one, but it was a beard all the same. I heard muted voices. They spoke in a language I didn’t understand, and only one could speak with me in my own tongue, although haltingly. They were servants. I remembered that I was here alone. I was from across the sea. I was the foreigner here. I was alone, and lonely. I decided to take a walk outside. In the herb garden I turned and looked at the structure I was living in while I was here. It was uniquely different from all the nearby structures. It was stone. In fact, it was the only actual building in site. All of the other structures were some kind of hut, made from wood. These definitely were not my people. I remembered I came from a thriving city, buildings beautiful and constructed of carefully architected white stone. I looked over the nearby cliff to the water’s edge where there were more of the hut-style structures and primitive dug-out boats. These people were fisherman. I had been dropped off here and left. I understood the stone building had been constructed with great care for me. The workers that completed it went home on the ship that brought me. I was expected to be here a long time. I had a mission. What was I doing here, so far from home? The word Mesopotamia slid through my mind. Home.   But why was I here? Why was I alone? From my vantage point outside I looked up to see the building, my home, had a flat roof. On top of the roof was an odd piece of equipment. I mounted the circular outdoor stairway to get a closer look. It was a telescope of sorts. I remembered constructing it myself. It was very delicate. The servants were not allowed to touch it. Inside the long tube of carefully hollowed wood were a series of finely crafted lenses. It stood on a tripod of my own design. By aiming it at the night...

TO JOURNAL OR NOT TO JOURNAL

TO JOURNAL OR NOT TO JOURNAL

Remember when we were kids and we kept a ‘secret diary’? Everything that we did in one day went into that book of memories…. everything we said to our boyfriends, our best friends, our ‘invisible friend’… and our dreams.. oh the dreams for the future we would jot down in that magical book! Some days I was so excited to get home and rush into my room and grab that diary from under my mattress (because nobody knew it was hidden there, right?) lol And the thoughts would just come flowing out like a melted ice-cream cone on a hot Texas day. Inspired moments of my life that I could ‘never’ allow myself to forget, not for a second! And once I had finished allowing everything to pour from my passionate little brain, through that pencil lead that appeared to glow as it touched down onto the paper that held my life so delicately within its lines…. I closed my little leather bound world of ‘Lisa’, and I smiled as I slid it back into its safe place, until we would meet again, the next day, to share another wonderful experience! To journal or not to journal… oh my yes! And now, as adults who are connecting to our guides and who understand ‘life’ on an entirely new level of existence, it’s so very important to once again, have that magical book that connected you to yourself as that child, and allowed your creative side to come forth and be heard! Journaling always ‘wakes me up’ to things I have not realized, when I just open my mind and allow myself the luxury of non-thinking. That ‘is’ when my writing is at it’s very best. Because if I try and force information to come out, it refuses to do so! Journaling is very therapeutic! I believe we hold emotions to a point of unhealthiness and this is a great way to release what we can’t seem to say out loud. I also believe that our guides bring information to us through our journaling, reminding us of our human experiences in a way we may not have appreciated as they first occurred! And I believe you ‘can’ begin a spiritual journey through the magic of sharing with ‘yourself’ as the adult you are today, as you did as a child.. through your thoughts, experiences, wishes and dreams. And if you have never kept a journal before… get ready for an amazing expression of self! Make sure you find a nice size journal and a lot of pens because once you give yourself permission to start your journal journey, you are going to be very impressed with the way it makes you feel…. Inside! So… Journal! In light and love, Lisa Freeman Intuitive Consultant &...

SEPTEMBER 2014 ASTROLIGHTS

By John Maerz B.A. With Mars, Saturn and the Moon conjuncting in Scorpio on the first, the focus this month is on how you relate to other people’s resources and behavior. Since there is so much going on behind the scenes, it may require you to stand back, observe the situations as they appear and determine underlying causes. Nothing is as it appears. Additionally, if you are going to take some action it would be best to do so with no fanfare, proclamations or advertisements. Humility is the key. Bravado and bragging will be met with a strong resistance and denouncement. So do what you need to do quietly, effectively and move on. This means that Labor Day should remain respectful and quiet. Thankfully, it is a day when many people are off work. Additionally, this conjunction in the eighth house says we should pay special attention to the stock market. There, also, actions will be occurring behind the scenes that will have a strong bearing on how we all fare financially. On the 9th we will have a full moon in Pisces. Pay attention to your dreams if you can remember them. With the Moon’s close proximity to Neptune, also in Pisces, we should be able to gain a deeper perspective to our unconscious leanings and tendencies. Perhaps, even enough to purge some of the more aggravating ones. On the 23rd the Sun moves into Libra. This is the equinox and a very powerful time. Take the opportunity to make whatever important changes you have been putting off until the summer has finished. Pluto’s turning direct in Capricorn on the same day will add a supercharge to whatever you plan to do so make it a good move. These issues will mostly revolve around relationships and position at your employment. Do your best to gain an understanding of where you stand in your career at present. Your clarity will determine how well you will be at making your upcoming choices. The day after there is a New Moon, also, in Libra. Again, it’s all about relationships but emotions come into the picture muddying up the works. With Venus, the ruler of Libra, still in Virgo, the house of work environment, you know your decisions will be pertinent to how you work and the conditions therein. The Sun’s presence in that house, also, will bring visibility and clarity to the issues at hand. Enjoy Labor Day and September. When we move into October we will have our usual pattern or reoccurring eclipses bringing low energy and an exposure of the importance to the above decisions. Choose wisely!     ...
