This psychic protection tip is intended to help you get a better night’s sleep, and be more rested in every area of your life! It will help you physically, emotionally, mentally and certainly spiritually. It is also my Dream Protection Tip #1 in this new series of Psychic Protection Tips I am creating.

Have you ever gone to bed tired, only to toss and turn, failing to find sleep for hours, and then spoken with your spouse or a friend the next day who complained about their sleepless night? Have you ever felt your mind racing in a thousand directions all night long, and woke in the morning even more tired than when you went to sleep? If you checked with friends and family that day you probably would have found that someone close to you has been very worried about something or perhaps just very excited about something.

The fact is, we all connect with one another at night while we sleep. That isn’t always bad. My students often see me in their dreams, helping them to get clear on something they are learning, or to help them work through a personal problem. The thing is, this ‘psychic connection’ we all have when we are asleep CAN be extremely debilitating if we don’t have it under our control, and if we don’t know how to protect ourselves while we sleep.

This series of tips will help you to get a handle on all of that.

The first one is incredibly simple. First, turn the phone off an hour or more before bed. Then take at least 45 minutes to an hour before bed to calm your mind and create healthy boundaries between yourself and your loved ones. Yes, even your spouse. You can do this in many ways. The calming your mind part can be done by watching a relaxing television show that leaves you in a happy place, or listening to soothing music, or meditating, or listening to a guided meditation, or doing Yoga or Tai Chi Chuan, reading to your children, or any of a hundred things that soothes your mind and disconnects you from your own worries, fears and concerns that you deal with on a daily basis. Setting boundaries with your loved ones begins with turning that phone off, but includes not answering emails or texts or contacting them for at least an hour before retiring. Discussions before bed with family members at home with you should be upbeat and relaxing. Walk away from anything negative. You don’t have to listen. Put anything negative out of your mind. Showering before bed or using another clearing method is also an excellent way to disconnect from the psychic space of your loved ones and helps to insure a good night’s sleep.

Here’s to perfect rest for you tonight!
